Does it cost money to change the look of my house's exterior or add guild emblems?
Yes. Shift + right click on the outside of your house to bring up the House External Options Menu. At the top of the panel, you'll see a list of house features that can be personalized. To the right of each, you'll see the cost of the upgrade.
