I am trying to find out which chipset my motherboard is using so that I can download updated drivers. Where can I look to see what chipset I am using?

In Windows 2000/XP, please perform the following:

Right click on My Computer and select properties. Next click on the "hardware" tab and then click on the "device manager" tab. Once inside the device manager click on "system devices" to expand the tree. The type of chipset will be listed within this list. Such chipsets may include, but are not limited to: VIA, ALi Magik, SiS, Intel etc.

For Windows9x/Me please perform the following:

Right click on My Computer and select properties. Next click on the "device manager" tab. Once inside the device manager click on "system devices" to expand the tree. The type of chipset will be listed within this list. Such chipsets may include, but are not limited to: VIA, ALi Magik, SiS, Intel etc.
